This Sunday’s message will be from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Take time to read and reflect on the passage as you prepare for worship.
On Sunday, October 26, Mentor and Erinda Zefi, two of our newest outreach partners will be visiting. They will join us for an interview session during Sunday school and share a brief ministry update with the congregation during both services.
Last week we heard from outreach partner Patty Toland. If you would like to receive her newsletter, you can sign up here.
A few weeks ago we heard from Tyler and Janice Thomas in Japan. If you would like to receive their newsletter, you can sign up here.

Elder Nominations
The time has come to prayerfully nominate qualified men to serve as elders at Grace. Joel Frey and Jeff Mindler have completed their three-year terms, and we thank them for their faithful service. Nomination forms will be available this Sunday and are due by November 23. Following Grace’s constitution, the elders will review all nominations and bring two men to the congregation for affirmation early in the new year.

An additional volunteer for tomorrow morning (Saturday) with a truck or van would be helpful to ensure the playground pickup and transport can happen in one trip.
Text Joel Myer at 717-283-5797 if you can help bless the kids at our church in this practical way.
It will take about three hours that morning to load, transport, and unload disassembled commercial playgrounds from the Gap area. The playground equipment will then be reassembled at our new property at a later time.

Grace’s next Connection Sunday is November 2. During Connection Sunday, the adults meet in the Fellowship Hall during Sunday school for snacks and conversations led by Joel DeVinney around tables.
To make Connection Sunday work, we need lots of help! You can sign up to serve, clean-up, or provide food. More details are available here. See Melinda Clark if you have any questions.

Grace’s wooden tractor playset has brought years of joy to our congregation, but it’s time for it to retire. Do you have space on your property for it? It is free to anyone who can move it.
The tractor can be picked up anytime between November 17 and December 9. If you’re interested, please email Michelle for details.
And stay tuned… you’ll love what’s coming next for our Bender Road property!

Election Day is coming! Be sure you are ready to vote on November 4. We will have a municipal election for township supervisors, borough council, school boards and three state issues. The state issues are for the retention of Supreme Court judges in Pennsylvania.
The deadline to apply for mail-in ballots is October 28.
If you need forms or have any questions, see Dot Imel.

When Grace moves to our new home on Bender Road, we will return to using our silver communion trays. We are forming 2–3 teams of two people to serve the congregation by preparing the communion elements.
What’s involved:
- Filling cups with juice
- Placing bread into trays
- Washing the communion set after the morning services
Time commitment:
- About 60 minutes before the service
- About 30 minutes after the service
Each team will serve every other (or every 3rd ) month. If you would like to serve in this ministry, please sign up here. For questions, see Joel DeVinney.
