This Sunday’s message will be from 1 Corinthians 10:23-11:1. Take time to read and reflect on the passage as you prepare for worship. The congregation will also remember Christ’s death and resurrection through the Lord’s Supper.
Grace’s 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting began earlier this week. If you would like to participate, there are “dateless” fasting cards available on the Welcome Center. You can take one and fast the day that works best for you.

Dog Lovers: This is Aurora, Jeanette Reynold's dog. Aurora has been living with the Clark family while Jeanette has been in rehab following her stroke. The Clarks need to ask another family to love and care for her while Jeanette continues to recover. Aurora is a sweet, friendly dog and good with kids, but would do best in a home with no other dogs. Would you like to welcome Aurora into your home for a time? Please speak with Melinda Clark.

Sunday school and Grace’s fall schedule begin on Sunday!
- Our Sunday morning services will begin at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m.
- There are Sunday school classes for children from nursery age through high school.
- There are two Sunday school classes for adults:
- Jefferey Becker will lead a class called “Humans Matter.” What matters about humans? What matters to humans? Do humans actually matter? Humans matter because we are all images of God; and by grace, images of Christ. Join us as we learn from the Bible why humans matter!
- Joel DeVinney will lead a study for young adults through the book of 2 Peter.

Two Glimpse women's Bible studies will be offered starting Tuesday, September 9, during the afternoons and Thursday, September 11, during the evenings.
Tuesdays: Daily Grace Co. - James: The Steadfast Life meeting 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Mandy Hinkle's home (children welcome). Cost: $15 No homework is needed for this course. Sign up and find more information here.
Thursday: Charles Simeon Trust - Gospels & Acts meeting 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Leslie Schmucker's home. Cost: $24 Weekly homework will be required for this course. Sign up and find more information here.

Parents of foster and adoptive children at Grace meet monthly to support one another. The hope is that the support group will offer community and provide understanding for one another around our common heart for children from hard places and the parenting challenges that are often part of that journey.

Meetings are held at Grace on the second Sunday of each month from 6–8 p.m. The first meeting will be September 14. Please note that all adults must have their ministry clearances completed.

Children’s Choir begins this Sunday, September 7th! This Grace Kids ministry meets every other Sunday during the second service and is open to all students in 1st through 6th grade. Children’s Choir helps kids grow in their understanding of God’s Word while equipping them to worship and serve others through music. Jamie Gerlach and Mandy Krause will lead Children's Choir this year.

Seasoned Citizens Day at Sandy Cove will be October 9!
Enjoy uplifting music from the amazing Michael Faircloth and time to reconnect with old friends while making new ones. Bring a neighbor, a friend from church, or your favorite group, and experience a day of joy and connection.
We will depart from the Church at 8:00 a.m. The cost is $ 40.00 which includes the program and lunch. Please pay the amount to the church in the offering labeled “Sandy Cove.”

The Order of Service and Sermon Notes are available on the church's website each Friday afternoon. These may be especially helpful if you plan to worship via livestream.
Church Center App: You can find the church directory online or in the app. You can make changes to your own information, enter block out dates if you are are on a service team, see the church calendar, and join prayer groups.

Grace's Elders have established a group in the Church Center App to share prayer requests. Open the app and select the "More" menu along the bottom, "Groups," "Other Groups," and then "Grace at Prayer." Select "Join." Then use "Messages (+New)" to share prayer requests. If you wish to receive immediate notification when requests are posted, turn on notifications under "Profile & Settings."
